Congratulations to the Hinsdale 4th Grade Small Cheerleading Squad! Under the direction of Carla Steuck and Karen Eck they placed 1st at last weekends BGYFL Cheer/Pom Competition at Willowbrook High School on October, 15th. The hard work, dedication, and talent of these athletes won them a bid to the State Championships. Thank you to our football team for all your support and the parents for your enthusiasm. It has been a great season! Love to see all the Hinsdale residents come cheer the girls on at the state championships. Our three teen coaches include Morgan Steuck, Mimi Gee and Nicole Claycomb. Both Hinsdale High School District 86 schools ranked in the TOP 12 of Illinois High Schools for 2007 in a Newsweek report.  Hinsdale Central ranked sixth and Hinsdale South ranked 11th.  Newsweek also ranked the Top 1000 high schools in the nation, and Hinsdale Central was Number 339 and Hinsdale South was Number 540. The ranks are based on the number of Advanced Placement tests taken divided by the number of graduating seniors.
